Unbelievably, there are none here. Maybe due to not feeding anything at the barrier bar silage when the advance scouting party of starlings were about a month ago?
Netting is probably the only way to control them.

Iv managed to get to leave for today, that distress call thing we have in the wheel barrow on a battery moving it round, but they will just ignore it in a few days.might try laser next see if that works

They’re back in their thousands ... god bless em ... and we are using rope bangers with some success as the bang is much louder than a 12 bore and a bit more random but the only way to shift them from the inside of the sheds is with a laser. Man power is the issue there though

I’ve just ordered a pile a laser pens. Leave them wherever and give them to anyone you can just to try and move them as much as you can.
I’ve also order a super powerful one that I should be able to use from the house and as my shed had no roof I can shine it straight at the little barstewards.

Laser pens don’t work IMO as they are not bright enough or summat.
The green beam of the agrilaser will, apparently, be effective up to 1km. Certainly I can shift birds across all three sheds from one point.

We had a major problem years ago the only solution was to net the sheds and front of clamps

Hang the rope over a barrel (200l or and old milk churn) seems to make the bang twice as loud almost sounds like a Cannon, plus if it’s windy the rope doesn’t burn too quickly.

I think the trick is to make them 'unwelcome' for the very off.. If they get in the sheds its probably too late, but loud banging as well as other noises (in case they get used to the bang) might help
