It feels like posts on this thread are coming from a different country. We finished wheat on Tuesday- all in below 15%. We’ve had 58.5mm since March 16th. The 0.5mm was the only measurable rain in July. OSR very good, second wheats ok & first wheats pretty good. Our land always does better in a dry year.
What country are you :scratchhead:

2nd wheat skyfalll has done better than I feared
260.60 tons of 66 acres
Gone in to our local store at between 15 and 16% moisture so weight loss to be deducted
Generally 78 to 80 spec weight
Protein 12. 5 to 12.8 with the loads that had fert overlap going through at over 13
Had protol on ears as well albeit slightly late by a couple of days

So first wheat skyfalll and 1st wheat gravity today, gravity on sand tho
Ziatt hopefully tomorrow
Been watching some skyfalll come into the store that has very low protein,,,,,,,, between 7% and 8%
Not enough N no doubt but to be expected if expensive N

Wheats testing here this afternoon from 18% to 25%, depending upon soil type and variety.

High time we got up with the times by buying a new moisture meter, methinks.

;) ;)

Supposed to be low humidity by now. Actually drizzling. Sigh. May as well book the weekend off.
Rained here this afternoon, anyway of to the commonwealth games for the weekend and a couple of jobs left to do on the combine. Next week looks cool and showery for the start of the week so no major rush especially as it’s not august yet

Dodging showers on the WB today. Around 16% with some green in the stubble.

Summer in the dry part of England and it's still gash. Roll on 16 percent moisture contracts. Just want the bloody stuff in the shed now.
