Extase I Exsept

First time grower. Bit worried about how tall itā€™s been all winter and how much N I dare give it .
was told it was a good early driller, so went in 18th sept. Howā€™s yours looking and what date did you drill it
On the better land itā€™s flying now, on the lighter land itā€™s suffered and the 20 days of frost have nettled it Iā€™m afraid, but picking up. Tried it to pick up some premium over basic feed but given the current price that means little I guess. Was a mid-Oct drill date.

last week forward price for nov 21 gp3 premium was Ā£9 a tonne over feed wheat

Do you reckon after all the frosts we have had recently that it is worth bothering with Terpal?
Mine didn't grow by 6" last week though. Only 5 & 7/8ths" maybe!

A week ago we were at early Flag leaf emergence and some of it was only 4" tall!
Iā€™m pleased to hear Iā€™m not the only person with barley to match the last sentence

Im expecting the crop to double in height plus I applied CCC a couple of weeks ago, so itā€™s getting 0.6 just to be on the safe side.
