If I finance something for the farm I have to supply my accounts and my bank statements etc. When I wanted to get phone contracts for my children I couldn’t because I didn’t have a credit rating because I hadn’t ever borrowed anything personally. You do wonder if there’s a plan afoot to saddle the poorest with debts they can never clear.
Having a mortgage is a plus on your credit score
Not having a mortgage is a minus!!!!

We went out to a flower show as a family to a town 40 miles away. So we had lunch ( dinner ) out. We usually eat out once a week we will have a morning on the farm and then out for lunch then back to watch sport on the TV . It was a very nice meal actually mainly vegetarian with drinks (not alcoholic ) came to about £ 8 a head.

just been into town i could not belive it Mcy ds and chicken shops rammed , bars and pubs rammed, and fst food delivery bods almost by the dozen!
Maccy D believes in getting them young, youngsters use McD as a meet up place in their early teens, maybe it's a substitute for a youth club !!,
and then the habit is formed. Also, how many view taking the kids to McD as being a "treat" - i was told by a grand mother the other day "that her
husband, a large beef/sheep farmer, liked nothing better than taking their grandchildren down to McD's at least twice a week - a round trip os approx. 35 miles !!. The eldest of the 4 grandchildren is 9 years old - teach them young etc.....

Those farms bought twenty yr ago will be paid off or nearly
No one foresaw interest rates plummetting 14 yrs ago
Land is crazy but bear in mind that if bought on mortgage they will have almost double , and its worth alot due to forestry and carbon neither will last long term, but if bought right years ago ot today is worth a small
Fortune , i think i should be selling now ! But then how would i protect my money ? Hmmmm
