any use in a sheep race situation , will be plenty bracing but worried that they will go out of shape in hot weather

We've got a sheep handling system lined with it and it's been fine. Like you said, it will warp in the heat and bulge a bit between bolts. Not a problem as long as it's secured on all four sides.

We had an application come up recently where we needed a board that would only be secured on the bottom edge and would need to be freestanding. @JP1 supplied us with Paneltim which is also a plastic panel but it's hollow inside a bit like cardboard and far more rigid than stockboard. It comes in a light gray that doesn't soak up the heat the same. You'll see a picture of our shearing trailer done out in it if you scroll back through my posts in the Shearing 2020 thread.

When fixing drill a bigger hole in the stock board and fix with big washers and smaller bolt, it won’t flex that much
