Given the cost of getting them to Orkney, I’d think a welder and a pile of steel might be a better option tbh. Personally, I struggled to see how I could make one & galvanise it for much less than what Iwan is charging.

07889399560 is indeed the number. I texted Iwan just this morning to see about getting a couple more, and he replied an hour or so later (I didn’t want to ring on Easter Sunday). Expecting a load back from the galvanisers on Wednesday if that helps, but how many are accounted for already I don’t know.

I’d certainly have another if I was looking. Mine’s still like new, after having a good bit of traffic over it. I have it permanently set in a fence next to a gateway, with a few inches of scalpings on either side to stop it getting too muddy. Nothings climbed over it yet, despite a good bit of pressure at lambing time.
