Its a bad job for farmers having stock stolen but tonight on the welsh news just before farmio a farmer was being interviewed after having some stock stolen. The animals he had left, and the farm looked as rough as hell and he said " the stock they stole were priceless" he repeated it three times just incase the insurance man was watching:ROFLMAO: Priceless

rustling jerseys ? biggest problem would be loading them into a lorry, the worst thing about jerseys, is they are plain bloody stubborn. doesn't sound quite right.

This happened not to far from us. The farm isn’t on main road access either and you’d have to go through a town within a mile. Be keen to load up and shift that many cattle in one hit and nothing be noticed

A jersey cow put to a good terminal sire is probably on of the most efficient suckler cows.

And the Jersey is known for its well-marbled beef. So an apology with a slight grovel will do. :)
the major problem with jerseys, is they breed stamp their progeny, and buyers notice, and pay less. BB is a good cross, but generally jerx best kept through to strong stores/fat. They do have a good carcass, and are fine, the problem being, you are splitting the profit, with another farmer, and having the smaller portion.
