We are a family run stonework and landscaping business based near Penrith. The business started out working primarily as a walling contractor for farmers and has developed into carrying out a broad range of stonework, landscaping and related groundworks for domestic, agricultural and other business customers. Due to growth we are seeking practically minded apprentices to join our small friendly team to work and train on a variety of projects. You will become proficient in a range of skills including walling, stone facing, stone fixing, stone dressing, and paving. You will be mentored by the business proprietor and will attend college on a block placement basis. Opportunities for training in related skills, such as operating construction plant, are also likely to arise. These are long term positions with the intention that you will continue to work in the business upon successful completion of your training.
