Ringlink were loading coasters in Montrose to go to Orkney the last couple of years I'm sure you could get a coaster loaded on the continent and bring it over. Just need to find someone over there to put the cargo together.North East Scotland Demolition Man.

depends who you are .if you have bought from someone before he wi supply you if he has it .Going from your post Wooly there is already straw leaving the UK. Do you know what the trade is? Is there likely tonnage still available to buy.
A load of black grass. Which isn't up here yet.
We will have to set up road blocksMust be a huge chance of that happening in a year like this.
Last thing we need up here. Always thought our higher drying costs offset the additional blackgrass control spend those in the south routinely incur in growing their crops.
We certainly don't want both.
Although you would have to fill s shop to capacity or find a vessel already running part loaded - the haulage will be very much less by shipDoesn't some bloke called Phillip Judge import/export straw? Others will have more knowledge of him than me. Surely a load from the South East (England) would be cheaper than bringing it over on the boat?
And all the rain we get it will drown up here!!Blackgrass probably wouldn't last long with us as we are a bit backwards still got a rotation with grass down for 6 years and use a plough.
But black grass is a marsh plant and can survive wet conditions very well, it might be too cold for it though. And all the rain we get it will drown up here!!
