Give John Ruck Construction a shout, good sheds but you may have to wait a while as they are usually pretty busy. Have seen a few people off here say they have used them and been pleased.
I was due a visit for a new 40’ square shed from John Ruck but turned out to be a no show appointment with no apology or explanation. Not inspired me to use them!
I have no axe to grind but just speak of my experience.Could have been foggy!?
If it was Nick Aldridge you were meeting he died suddenly earlier this yearI have no axe to grind but just speak of my experience.
Sorry to hear that news. That could well be the reason, as it was back in the winter/ spring when I spoke with him several times. He seemed a very straight forward genuine person over the phone, so I was surprised when he didn’t turn up on the two days he was passing by. Project ended up back on the to do list after that, as field work distracted my attention and time.If it was Nick Aldridge you were meeting he died suddenly earlier this year
On the Wednesday he was felling 100% came in on the Thursday and went home early as not and went to bed and never got up on the Friday that about itSorry to hear that news. are Galvanised gutters ok in sections for 20ft baysYou really need to know what's needed your self & read quote properly.
Cladding coating plastisol is a country mile better
gutter full length Galv 1 length per bay looks great and won't sag
The rsj steel frames all have to be to spec so not to much to worry about there
Perlins vary and most are to thin go for the thickest and deepest or spec stronger and the perling sleves make a massive improvement so if you spec the size that don't need the sleeves then add the sleeves it would be a lot better. Sounds rubbish but it's true.
Landini fibre cement sheets always seam better than the others( I think )
Make sure some one is going to grout posts inn
Ideally You don't want different gangs same person to do the lot welding footings and the erecting. Or your be stuck in the middle.
When are shed parts yours ie when the bits get delivered Or when the shed is complete.
Go round check don't take any sh!t make sure it's bang on. Ideally get some one recommended. Seen lots of very poor work over the years. But be reasonable in might burn down . Lol best of luck
Beware though, some companies weld on the cleats for the galv gutters dead level so there is no fall if the building is level.
I was really cross when I discovered that but apparently that is how it is. I wish that I had a fall on the building frame so that the gutters don't fil with silt.
Next time I am having the deep valley plastic mentioned above, I have them elsewhere and they are fine.
The galv gutter only supported on a steel bracket welded to each post so if your eaves timber moves or sags it has no effect on the gutter alignment got to be a better job and not that much more expensive when all taken into considerationBeware though, some companies weld on the cleats for the galv gutters dead level so there is no fall if the building is level.
