Used the 9 inch share to put some wheat in on tight land as an experiment that's all come nicely n looks the part just separating the rows a little bit more with standard seed boot. Also used it for put spring oats with companion in.obviously it is moving a fair bit more 81 inches over the 7 inch blade moving 63 when new.
Yes it doesWill the splitter seed boot put the seed out to 9”?
Be reading it from from a sun lounger about now, I am the ape that smashed all the stupid marzipan bolts that didn't agree with the torque settings I set , good old ftThe Ape doesn't read TFF I hope
I will post a picture but will be next week due to a technical difficulty, only bolts the apes have broken are those little short ones that hold the splitter boot on , got some locally that are longer with some washers on doesn't look as neat but me the ape cant over tighten ,
Did you manage to find a photo of the 9” A shares?
Havent got any new 9 inch shares just the ones that are worn but just put them up against a half worn 7 inch share
Do you think that the splitter boots spread the seed to the full width of the 9” share and the rows look noticeably wider?
And do you think it puts any more stress on the C tine using them?
