A new stronger foreign body magnet has been developed by Bernard van Lengerich Maschinenfabrik (BvL) which can help remove unwanted items in feed mix.
Foreign bodies in the feed ration mix can seriously endanger the health of animals and damage the feeding equipment.
These special foreign body magnets magnets cane be mounted directly on the mixing augers in the feed mixer, avoiding the problem and the risk of animals ingesting metallic foreign objects via the ration mix.
The new stronger foreign body magnet can be fitted to the feed mixer augers. Its magnetic field is more than twice as strong as that of its predecessor thanks to two integrated, continuous magnetic plates making it more effective in use. The new magnets are housed in a stainless steel container, which is both extremely robust and also waterproof, and does not affect the operation of the mixing augers.
