Student study: "Capitalising on Chaos? An Investigation into Brexit as a Material-Environmental Event"

Hello, I invite you to take part in a survey as part of my university dissertation. Broadly, I am focussing on the political production of a disaster, but I want to assess the environmental consequences of Brexit by looking narrowly at the agricultural sector. I want to narrativise the efforts of those within the agricultural sector into academia, which I believe it has failed to do before. All responses will be anonymous, and it should take no longer than 5-7 minutes. Thank you :).

I think Dezz is a remainer (ie: political production of a disaster) and would like to put that narrative on the information you provide through the survey.

Hi both, thanks for your message. I appreciate that the topic is super confusing.

For Agrivator: I believe there is a big gap in literature (as I’ve noticed from reading at university) that fails to address issues affecting agriculture specifically, and here I chose Brexit and it’s impact on the agriculture sector in attempt to fill this gap.

For steveR: material-environmental refers to using the environmental as a physical resource. And ‘neo-environmental regimes’ = ‘new environmental policy’.

Hope that helps :)

Hi Doc - I intend to keep my research as neutral as possible, or I would have submitted this into the “remain” forum. I welcome any opinion!

Understood the first para, the 2nd less so., The first sentence is poorly worded I suspect?
