Yeah, screwed up on that one. Never mind. I'll find a couple boys his age and pen them up once weened up the road then send them off for the freezer. It's all good learning!

Could always use burdizzos when he's a little older. I forget the age limit for that.

Research has shown that it causes more pain after 7 days. To be honest it didn't even occur to me until about day 4 or 5 I think. Was more concerned about keeping mum well, which she is. Anyway, no harm done and I'll deal with any consequences later if he does get mucky.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
