Suckler cow payment in NI

Well just when i need to buy a doz or so incalf hfrs our new minster for agriculture has hinted at a payment on suckler cows. Its not a definite or no figures mentioned but it wont matter to farmers, they will rise prices a cpl of hundred just in case they might miss out on something.

Madness, why pay subs on a product thats over produced already. Let supply and demand even out production

Maybe some of his mates have a few to sell and he has offered to do something to boost the price which would be typical for our "politicians".

Never amounted to anything. Why would it? Keeping sucklers is all about doing it for minimum cost. Giving men an additional £200 a head would just cause farmers to loose focus and continue doing something that doesnt pay.
