Looking at putting cubicle shed up for Sucklers with slatted passageways, I’m wondering will the slurry from silage fed sucklers be too thick to pump out of tank below
Cheers

Do you need to add a lot of water?Yes. We need to add water and stir before it will pump.
All depends on the feed of course but these are on reasonable silage.

To get a good stir and liquid enough to get it all sucked out we can add 5 loads of clean water to end up with 20 of finished slurry.Do you need to add a lot of water?
Thanks certainly worth a try.If you add a additive to the slurry at the beginning of winter that help to break down the slurry then you will find you will not need to add any water to it to get it out . https://www.envirosystems.co.uk/slurry-improvers/ well Worth a look into at least
Just put @ in front of their nameTurn the gutter downpipe into the shed , that should give you plenty of water!
If you know how to tag folk ( I don’t ), tag sheepwise!
He built a shed 5/6 years ago that has a bubbler system in it. He’ll tell you if it’s any good or not !

Not yet, was going too this summer but im re thinking as cost mounting up, wondering weather its worth it to be honest, might be better just with 80 cows less, seems with cattle its just a continual investment and i cant make up my mind weather to continue prices are shyt we get mugged for beef.@Hilly did you put slats in?
