I made savings of about a third on retail price of what I won. What did the near new Amazone make in the end?

Wasn’t far away from the price of a new one once you added the buyers premium. Did anyone see where the Topcon/Amapad X30 and receiver made? Looked to be the bargain of the day for a while

The 2022 Amazone ZA-V 2600 made £8,400. When you add 15% buyers premium it was £9,660. Amazone advertising the same machine brand new for £9,850 on farm!

I wonder if some people don’t know about buyers premium? When I put my max bids in I allowed for that and about 10% off what the item retails for. Some of the stuff I got outbid on, you could buy new for the same or less on amazon.

The collection days for the winning bidders at Suffolk Agri were yesterday and Tuesday. The place looks a lot barer with only a company Qashqai in the yard from what I can see passing

Banners and flags down

Just wondering now what will happen with the site

Heard a few rumours

Seems to have been a perfect storm, cereal price crash, wet weather, SFI, over stocking due to long build times since Covid, machine price rises putting potential buyers off, poor quality sales staff, etc, etc.
Couldn’t agree more. We are all feeling the pinch. New SFI regs won’t help.

That explains why after 3 weeks they haven’t turned up to do our 500hr Merlo service, it’s now gone past 550hrs.

Guess the next problem will be Merlo claiming we’ve breached the warranty terms because we can’t keep up with their dealer merry go round.
bw mac talk to them
first claas service . still a small family run business
they do a lot of merlo service work
think they work closely with rc boreham with them
