Nice. Only 15% of mine look like that. Debut in the mix next time?was that question for me???
I'll wait and see on the day, I've got everything I need, phen, meta, etho, lenicil, and debut all in stock for full rate If necessary. Itll depend on what we get in the flush but I've sort of got in mind half rate debut at the moment.
Yes acorning to the updated label it has tank mixes with maxpro, betanal turbo, debut, oxlix, goltix and safari lite. It also has a tank mix with fusilade which might be handy when tidying up and grasses.
Ps it might pay to reduce the oil as it's a OD formulation.

Looks good. I find that a decent dose of ethofumesate in later mixes with venzar helps burn up the bindweed later on. I think bindweed has evolved a waxy coat and the ethofumesate helps the venzar get through the coat. That’s something I thought I saw when “using up” some ethofumesate, not an official recommendation.
Pyramin used to be good then they only approved for pre em :(

Had a good look at my bert this morning and winged aphids were easy to find and theres plenty of eggs on the leaves.

Will biscays/teppeki/insyst kill eggs or should I wait for them to hatch??? I assume they're not all going to hatch together so some will already be feeding and spreading disease while others are still incubating.

Heaven knows. I suppose we have to make a start sometime though. I thought these insecticides offered 6 weeks protection or are they just knockdowns? I have Tepeki in the shed. I thought number of wingless aphids was the decision criteria?

Eggs are nothing to do with aphids afaik. I think they are leaf miner and not a disease risk. I don’t know if the eggs are killed by insecticides but if you go on bbro I’m sure it will tell you.

Lots of neighbours spraying beet today with insecticide, plenty hot enough, 22C here, only a couple of days after herbicide.

Hugely uneven germination here, not sure if the stuff on the tougher ridges will come later or if it germinated after the rain 2 weeks ago and died.
I’ve got both, some fields died others still coming through. Herbicide tomorrow not planning on adding Biscaya

If it's any consolation one field I walked this morning which had perfect 100% germination now has some gaps when you look closely all that's left Is a stump some of which are dying probably from herb damage.
Nothing major just annoying.
