It may pay all to know that legitimate checks to trace vehicles and owners can be made on line direct to the DVLA. Try this by all means but if details are provided be careful what you do with the info.

Some may be revolted as searching through refuse and it can be dangerous!

There may be documents and receipts, purchased items with bar codes and other evidence. These days we carry cameras so film the evidence and it's location then send it to your local authority.

Stew has accidentally I presume added a link to the guide for using the website, which all though maybe handy the more relevant links would be to the homepage the rural security group and to join the rural security group to show your support you need to register which is free!
