Hi all,
Relatively new to forum and to doing own repairs however, son now keen to give repairs a go so thought it was a Good idea that he changed drive belt when it broke. Simple belt changed. When we started bike it moves in neutral, problem!
Googled problem and looked like it may be one way bearing which came out in many pieces, replaced and no better.
Now getting sick as much better things to do on livestock farm!
From basic knowledge of mechanics I thought the shaft From the wet clutch should be idle on tick over and when revved the springs would allow pads to engage due to centrifugal force but may be wrong.
As shaft spins all of the time the primary centrifugal clutch is engaging and gripping drive belt hence the bike moves.
Has anyone any ideas of problem and advice
