First one back this morning,last few years they have always come back on the 6th of April, summers back

Yep seen them yesterday afternoon, north Devon coast. 29th March. But they are scouts and only seen fleetingly two weeks in advance of summer residents.

Just arrived here. Half a dozen hunting through ewes and lambs.

Bloody freezing for them!!

Solitary Male here yesterday, swooping around sheep.

A pair of House Martins arrived last night, about 3 weeks earlier than usual for them.
No swallows yet, usually mid April.

Saw 2 yesterday here in south Pembrokeshire. One perched on roof twittering away now.
