Hi all,

Ive a tanco Miniwrap 404 bale wrapper which ive view to fit the auto stop on after using a newer one which did stop on completion of the amount of turns required. Ive found a company that supplies the computer kit reasonably priced, which outputs a 4a 12v when the set amount of cycles is reached.

Ive contacted tanco in regards to this kit which they will gladly supply however at an eye watering price. can anyone identify the knock out solenoid or where i could source one? the hydraulic valve has a detent which when pulled back will allow the wrapper to spin. origionally it had a very basic revolution counter fitted which needed someone stood with it all the time;

find attached the 'KIT' that tanco are suggesting may be available through my nearest dealer.... what im seeing doesnt surmount to the value of nearly £600.00 can anyone identify what the actuator actually is?

If I remember I'll look at our McHale on Tuesday. Going by the wiring, which is a bit of a mess and needs tidied, it's possible that the autostop was retrofitted on it but I've never looked at it closely.

thanks - just trying to weigh up the easiest way to get the valve to kick out because you use the valve forwards and back to turn the table if something happens or the wrap needs re attaching. just wondering if theres a valve i can fit which will dead end the flow would this cause a valve to return to centre? dont really want to go down the lines of damaging the spool valve itself.

You could fit a solenoid valve that returns once energised on the table supply,this would allow the spool to work normally.
