So just noticed they are now (presume having to) charge at the pallet rate £42 for bigger tractor batteries - eg a 622 / 629 size, presumably due to the weight. Same with GO battery's.

Any other firms avoiding this as yet?

Platinum batteries have their own delivery vans , usually in my area on a Wednesday, no charge for delivery, unless it's changed recently.

They been doing that for a while, I suspect couriers wont do it due to weight, hense a pallet.
