TB Check Test (EM)

Just had notification of TB test. Apparently relates to a suckled calf sold. after clear pmt 1/12/23.
Apparently animal been killed at 12 months old at slaughterhouse and shows T B lesion at post-mortem?
Now they telling me I need whole herd test before early May. The fact I just had whole herd clear test in January doesn’t seem relevant to the Indian woman from APHA on the phone!!
My cattle are currently calving now so loath to unnecessarily stress/test them at present.
It really seems nonsensical. . . .

Ring APHA and speak to someone else, usually get a different answer!
Odd that it was killed at 12 months?
