Our older machine has an inline fuse powering the control box in the cab. The fuse holder is a bit naff and over time has developed the habit of breaking the circuit by losing contact with the fuse. The fuse isn't blowing (a LED lights on the fuse when it's either blown or the circuit is broken) and wedging something in to the fuse holder cures the problem.

Are you sure one of the wires hasn't pulled out of the back of the plug??? Had this about 4 times on different machines!!! Double check, as when this happens the blue tooth won't connect.
Yep ours does that if you're not careful when disconnecting. We have also had to pair our machine and box in the cab before, can't remember what we had to do but was very simple.

Hi Daniel,

Sorry to hear that you have a problem with this. If the green LED light inside the grey control box on the machine isn't flashing then there is no power getting to that section. These are the steps I would follow to identify what is going on:

1. Check the (7.5A) fuse and the red light on the fuse housing which, if on, indicates the fuse has gone, as foxbox above correctly states. If the fuse is not blown but the light is on then try squeezing the plastic housing with some blunt pliers, which will tighten the moulded-in spade terminal. Either way the aim is to turn off the red light!

2. If the green LED is still off, try removing the D plug from the fly lead at the back of the bluetooth controller in the tractor, and connect it direct into the tractors D plug instead of the cab control desk. If the light then starts to flash then it's the fly lead that has a problem.

If none of this works then please contact Mike Ibbotson, our service manager on 01872 562367, or feel free to give me a call.
