Anyone using these ? dont think I have seen any of these in Ireland yet
friend has got one or two, I think by end of milking you’ll be glad to set it down!!
We’ve no problems with ours at all don’t find it that hard to run either and does a good job for us all we’ve really had to do is change the brush’s and the bearings
Thats exactly what our neighbour tells me when they used one at the farm he works on !! Spread the enviromental mastitis from cow to cow they thought too !!Used to use one years ago, best thing we did was stopped using it,it’s caused mast and high cells! If your teats are dirty coming in the problem is outside the parlour! ever since we just dry wipe with blue roll. Don’t waste your money and time on one
I have had one since last summer it makes the job a lot easyer and faster bactosan is at 5, the only thing i think it is fine for the length of my parlour but for a massive long parlour your arm might get a bit sore hold it for as longHi all,
New to the farming forum. Milking in a 36/72 herringbone, spring block calving and we have been pre spraying and wiping, looking to switch to a teat scrubber. What have been the affect on your bacto and cell count please?
thank you
Another advantage was for us, there is no green paper waste, so dont need to get rid of bags of that anymoreI have had one since last summer it makes the job a lot easyer and faster bactosan is at 5, the only thing i think it is fine for the length of my parlour but for a massive long parlour your arm might get a bit sore hold it for as long

No I dont to be honest !! I like the idea of one and got excited when I saw the video ,but I am only going by neighbours comments coupled with what King Of G said about them !So you know what chemical they were using in the scrubber?
I wouldn’t go back to it even if it was installed/given to me FOC.to be quiet honest there that bad they should be banned! You see the problem is people don’t realise till you stop using it,yeah it looks great and you can’t knock it the teats look spotless but.... it gives the teat ends some stick! I didn’t mind fixing it in the morning if it broke on the am milking but on the pm milking it ain’t much fun.No I dont to be honest !! in fairness ,if your cows have nice clean bags and you have the right chem , maybe they will be a good thing!!![]()
