£63 for a genuine Claas rim, tyre, tube and bearings ready to bolt on. Only problem is it's an 8 inch rim as fitted to the current rakes and tedders. My older model with 6 inch rims is £44 for a bare rim, £45 for a tyre and I stopped him there before I got the price for a tube and two bearings.£60 odd out of Eirwins last year ready to bolt on.
Plenty of second hand tractor parts over here but I don't know of anyone who does second hand machinery parts. Bearings alone are £10 per wheel.I sometimes think farmers down south have too much money!
Try Googling "farm machinery breakers". Surely worth a try. There's three scrap dealers at least at the top of the list and I think there's a site where you can post your wants (admittedly, mostly cars) and dealers can quote.
There's something in The Bible about using old cloth, not new, to mend an old garment, isn't there?
Tractor wheels and tyres. They hardly break any machinery and rarely update their website.Large Selection of Wheels and Tyres

Exactly, it's not megabucks & sometimes enough shite without buying more....christ for such small amounts for new i would not even consider wasting my time on second hand, which may just be a shite as one removed
