Teejet 844 spray controller issues

Last time out sprayer worked perfectly, but tonight when out spraying beans for bean weevil, the 844 controller although set for 200lts , frequently shot up to 350lts +, then dived down to 130ish then came back to 200, and then all over again. Occasionally it would settle down then away again.
Am I correct in thinking it could be the flow meter - pump recently rebuilt and filters all clean?

Could be the flow meter, could also be the regulation factor in your settings. This is how quickly or slowly the sprayer corrects over and under dosing. If memory is correct the first number before the decimal point corrects the speed of large fluctuations, and after the point is smaller fluctuations. Think mine is set to 9.5 but would have to check. Small fluctuations need to be set to a lower number or it keeps hunting all the time. Hope that makes sense, would be worth a check.

Adjusting the agitation valve sometimes helps, if not (as previous post says) try lowing the second number on the adjustment rate - I think it defaults to 9.5
