Wanting to put down some hard standings and a roadway on a 5 van caravan site.About 8 inches of top soil on sandstone,if I dig out about 4or5 inches of soil then put down some Teram mesh then some crushed concrete and tarmac would that be ok.?
Looking on the internet Teram comes in 1000,1500, 2000,3000 gauges what size do I need.? I have about 450 sq m to do.
Thanks

Sounds ideal. Make sure you compact it well. If you can go a bit deeper that is always worthwhile too - cheaper to do that on day 1.

I just use "standard" woven - pipe suppliers usually stock it.

In this case the cheapest woven (black) terram will do the job as good as 1000, be about £100 for a 4.5 x 100m roll.
If it’s too wide you can cut the roll with a handsaw (don’t use a chainsaw or power saw)

We used to cut rolls for paths with the stihl saw . Plastic woven type . Black.
Id presumed it wouldn't cut with hand saw.
It melts like a bugger and welds .
If cutting it fully on roll a new hand saw will do it , be hard work but will work.
Arms like popeye.

Use a watering can keep the blade cool, that works well.
