Mine arrived today. Thanks for that, and changing the helmet for me. Don't think the welding rods came with mine though, unless they're in the box with the welder. Haven't unpacked it all yet. Helmet looks cool though!
Glad you received.
You should have received your rods, Think I remember packing them - might be wrong though.
If they aren't in the box please do let us know & we'll see what we can do.

Thanks, Tom - WSD

What is a good replacement for 220/200amp oil cooled Pickhill
May be used all day for 2/3 days then not switched on for mths
Hi, Depends on what its being used for & whether you were after the same amperage or wanted something lower

If you wanted around 160 amps max then I would definitely recommend one of these or maybe if you wanted around 200 amps take a look at the Jasic PRO 200, classy little machine with a 5 year RTB warranty

Feel free to ask any other questions and I'll do my best to answer, Tom - WSD

Can do, Would recommend an Oxford to anyone, They do an Oxford migmaker 270-1 for 719.95 Ex. VAT
If you wanted a compact inverter Jasic do a MIG 250, Bit more expensive at 830 Ex. VAT but you get a 5 year RTB warranty and they are a good little machine.

If you need anything specific like duty cycle you can contact me and I'll do my best to find something to suit your needs.

Thanks for the enquiry, Tom - WSD

Plasma probably be after Xmas, I'll be in enough trouble when the Mrs takes delivery of the welder. A good half price new year sale on hypertherms sounds like a good idea. (y);)

@TomWeldingSuppliesDirect Hi Tom
What welding helmets do you sell with air supply? What price and how good are they?
Hi, We sell a couple good ones.

Miller PAPR Respirator with Titanium 9400i helmet - Obvious quality as its Miller & comes with a 9400i helmet which is basically a Miller digital elite without the name and is silver. Nice features being a nice big viewing area (9.22 sq in), weighs only 3.2 pounds & 8-13 variable shade - only drawback being that on high speed it's battery power is around 4-5 hours. This one 526.32 + VAT

Phantom Air Filtration system - Not seen these myself as they are fairly new but its got some nice features like 8 hour battery life, 9-13 variable shade lens & it comes with a COSHH gas flow tester. This one is a bit cheaper at 408.33 + VAT

If you need any questions answering please let me know and i'll do my best to answer.

Cheers, Tom - WSD
