TFF slow down.

Is TFF sever on a go slow? It seem to take an age for most pages to load at the moment, up-to about 20-25 seconds. Only seems to be TFF as other websites loading fast as ever here.
Is it just me?

Nothing has changed and server auto spool up at times when we get busy. Its most likely a data centre issue somewhere in the UK that will sort itself out.

As we have built it now, TFF can't slow down, it just keeps adding servers as more and more people come online. Conins automatically get put in the meter. That was only an issue with the old build.

I have logged a performance report though as it is slow for me too.

Thanks @Chris F just so you know it's happening on iPhone, iPad and desktop. Tried the phone on 4G and its no better.

as Chris says the site should never slow as severs just expand based on load, clearly something is not quite right

Maybe it's the amount of porn you're looking at is slowing the WWW down globally ?

PS, been slow for me on Windows, iOS, 4g, so glad it's not just me. All other websites load fine.

it does look like a server issue with our AWS set up, we will sort it but don’t have the full tech team back form holidays until tomorrow unfortunately

Hi Clive

No pressure from my side - you guys do enough to keep this site running whilst holding down jobs so take your time. We can still use the site and for a lot of us it is a free to use site, so we all should be greatful for that.

It is still quite slow, especially when posting. I know it's not just me because I regularly see 2-3 identical posts as members just keep hitting the post button when it is slow to act. I guess the moderators have to go back and clean these up?

thanks fir the feedback - we tried a few changes on Friday morning but it seems it hasn’t made the difference we hoped

got a few things we can try Monday but it is a bit of a mystery, servers are running really well and very fast
