TFR Reaction

Bit of a weird one this. Washed one of our JDs last week. It’s been washed several times before and we’ve used the same TFR for years. But after 5 minutes the hubs on the front axle went like this? Didn’t affect the yellow on the wheels or any green. Washed off fine. Wondering if there’s a dye in the front axle oil for leaks that reacted with the tfr?

looks like iron out type stuff? or iron x from jenny chem? Works well on wheel for getting brake dust off and goes that colour.

I have started using jenny chem now for the van and will be switching over to it for everything once the old stuff is used up.

That looks more like an oil leak of some description, it doesn’t seem to go all the way to the back of the hub? Perhaps it is left over from when the hub oil was last changed?

The oil would have had tiny metal particles in it, if the TFR had ironx in it then the tiny metal particles will turn pink/red like that.
