These protests exactly show why we should be shoulder to shoulder withour European counterparts not bickering with them. As a continent we can be far stronger, but then what would I know!

We are part of the European Continent, in a geographical sense and for the next few days/weeks/months politically tooYou are not on our continent
I do presume a lot of the British difficulty’s are down to the fact it is an island...

Where do you get that statistic from? It has been widely reported that food banks handed out 1.6 million food parcels last year, but that doesn't mean that 1.5 million people in the UK are dependent on food banks. You’d think with a million and a half Brits dependent on food banks while the Tories literally laugh about it, that Britain would be a pretty angry country too.

Knew it wouldn't be long before someone said something like that. It has been suggested that a significant number of food bank uses are by people who can afford food but don't like spending money. My neighbour uses a food bank , leaves the merc at home and goes on his bike

They even moan on here and we are supposedly not on their continent even. Would these tractors be protesting against EU ag policy or French ag policy? Is there a difference and if not they should be in Brussels surely.I wish the UK was more like France for protesting. When people in France feel their rights are being attacked, they walk out and do something about it. In the UK people just sit on their arses and moan.
Unlike some we have not been invaded recently.Ah well, no tanks on the streets
