The angry country

You’d think with a million and a half Brits dependent on food banks while the Tories literally laugh about it, that Britain would be a pretty angry country too.

Where do you get that statistic from? It has been widely reported that food banks handed out 1.6 million food parcels last year, but that doesn't mean that 1.5 million people in the UK are dependent on food banks.

My neighbour uses a food bank , leaves the merc at home and goes on his bike
Knew it wouldn't be long before someone said something like that. It has been suggested that a significant number of food bank uses are by people who can afford food but don't like spending money.

I wish the UK was more like France for protesting. When people in France feel their rights are being attacked, they walk out and do something about it. In the UK people just sit on their arses and moan.
They even moan on here and we are supposedly not on their continent even. Would these tractors be protesting against EU ag policy or French ag policy? Is there a difference and if not they should be in Brussels surely. o_O
