1300 out of 2000ha done. About 260ha wheat left to go. The rest is spring oats, spring wheat and winter beans.
there is masses of uncut fields in this area.
I think we’re doing okay, keep cutting, save quality and into Camgrain (when lorries are available!)
Some good yields and some fairly average.
fairly happy. Certainly pleased we have a low overhead system.
How many peeps do you have working 4500 acre?

For every day I think "wow, if I'd kept on I'd have a big pile of dosh" my wife reminds me that I'd probably have had several heart attacks, or been medicated, or shed have left me. Got a nice, casual day on my brother's fendt with a set of 12m rolls on. Bank holiday weekend with the children. And I sleep at nights. Well, not the week before my "harvest" but it's so much better.
Same here, just have to look after grain store and mobile drier so can start and finish when I want, going for 50km bike ride with nates in the morning then probably do a couple loads through drier in the afternoon. Stress levels much reduced!

not cut anything since last friday but straw all carted and dry finished drilling osr today after waiting for seed for last field pizz it down tommorw, high pressure next week crack the last of the wheat then onto spring barley, jobs a good un! best laid plans an all that.

Nothing since last weds.
Didnt have the expected amount of rain Saturday, yesterday pleasant enough. No sun or wind today. Testing 20.2%. No combining today.....
