Yes it does marginally, shouldn't be an issue though as the site is a flood area in the fens and this area that was in an arable rotation is being returned back to wet grassland

It's a 4.2m Engineering and Hire bucket, it's not as lightweight as a herder but doesn't bend if you catch any submerged bog oaks that are in some of the drains. I can do a full 360 with it. It's brilliant to be able to reach out sideways under electric cables without having to have the machine under the wires

Is the cutting part herder? Herder is by far the most popular but their are also Hobelman and Landreus and they all use Herder cutterbars.

As far as I am aware it's their own cutting units. I have also got an old 3m basket from the same firm that I have taken the cutting parts off and welded on a cutting edge which I use if there's a lot of bulrush

Any recommendations for where to buy a Ford/NH grading bucket for the lovely old girl? (I'll need to save up my pennies first!)
Bought my last one from here.

Any of the bucket makers dig bits etc,
I have a quick release on mine, also a cone and pin adaptor on the front.
She's getting a bit tired now but still capable of a shift

Cheapest option will be to buy a decent 2nd hand 3cx bucket and weld on new brackets.2nd hand NH buckets are few and far between and 2nd hand at auction grading buckets were making £450. Have had a land rake off digbits so they will be able to supply new if you want to go down that route, Rhinox couldn't offer anything when i purchased a riddle bucket(2018) as used to have a 3cx at same time as NH and needed riddle bucket for a job.
I have converted the 3cx riddle bucket to fit my NH95. Used a NH bucket next to 3cx bucket and using a bit of cardboard aided design to get geometry set right got plate shape set out- i converted cardboard to CAD and the sent off DXF file for plate to be cut. I got plates flame cut with holes (was cheaper than laser or plasma) and ended having to flycut holes out to 45mm which was a pain. If doing again would not get holes cut out and would use TCT hole saws to get get pin holes bored after plate cut. I used shaft collars to reinforce plate/pin contact area . Not perfect but works fine as proper way for pin holes would have required a turret mill/horizontal borer to finish holes after welding (turret mill is on shopping list) and line boring would have been uneconomic.

Depends if you have a rear quick hitch and what is it. A lot of backhoe quick hitches fit specific machines but hook onto JCB buckets. 3CX buckets are 45mm and close enough to same dipper width but with a reduced pin to pin centre. The NH will lift 3CX buckets if going straight on but digging geometry and tear out force is not so good, not much of an issue on a grading bucket. Proper Ford/NH buckets will have two sets of holes for the link any how, one for tear out digging force and other for crowd angle. Grading/blade/ditching buckets usually only have one set of pin holes. A 3CX one is easy to modify to correct pin centres aswell
