The Farm Dog

It's puppy season here for coyotes so Conn has been doing double duty. To the point he's going near their den to pick fights. He'd probably consider it above and beyond the call of duty, I'm calling it unnecessary travelling across the country

Either way, the night before last he must have been on the fight path. Except he fought a stick and lost Impaled himself in the armpit and skinned it like a little chicken wing. So we went for a car ride (he's not a fan of car rides), met a vet, got drugged, got stitches, had a much better car ride home thanks to the drugs, and then continued his stupor on the lawn for a few more hours.

Willow wasn't quite sure what to make of it. He wasn't very lively, and that wrapping on his elbow was a tempting chew toy!

Feisty lad. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
