It was 2 years yesterday since I lost this old boy. I still get upset when I think about him and talk to him every time I dust his box of ashes. He lives in pride of place on the bookshelf next to his old mum. I think they stay with you for all time and ask for so little in return for all they’ve given you.

I can understand everything you say.i talk to my lost pets everytime I pass their graves every morning and still at night before bed too.my last collie I lost last November the 5th,Amy I still miss terribly.got another pup who will be 1 in 9 days time but new ones never are the same as lost ones,but having said that I love her loads.all dog lovers reading this will understand and everyone else will think I’m soft and stupid but I don’t care

Both but Penny really.she tries to play with Katie by biting her neck but she does not want to play at 11 1/2.katei is so soft I call her auntie placid at times.anyone got 3 collies in a house and are there any problems
