There is something special about seeing a nicely erected fence. I want to know how you strain the wire? We just put it tight with a chain on a tractor and double staple on tbe strainer but i'm sure there must be a better way. And do box strainets make a difference?
@Magnificent Earwig, we mainly use a quick fencer mounted on the front linkage for straining the stock net/horse net etc. however, they have their drawbacks. They can't be used everywhere and the don't like short runs. To a degree the longer the better. For the awkward bits we use a clamp and monkey strainers to pull up the wire.
I prefer to strain from the middle with boundary strainers and crimp the wire. so the wire is strained evenly throughout the strain, difficult to do though with short lengths.
