All for people doing slightly odd adventures, but this guy is a dreamer. He will be coming very very close to our farm, possibly even his starting point as we are on the border. I would love to catch him.

Do they still breed exceptionally good Friesian cows in Montgomery?

Fair are several dairy herds about still. Nearly all good Holsteins from what I see.

If you are referring to the Montgomery herd (which was several miles from Montgomery) I seem to remember reading that they’d been taken out with F&M in 2001, restocked with Jerseys, then dispersed them a couple of years later (that info came from the foreword in that catalogue). No idea if they’re milking there now, but they do make a lot of good quality, multi-cut silage.
