Isnt all politics conducted that way now, everything is done for shortermism, sound bites and taken out of context,just look at the NHS its a political football everytime someone wants a debate about its future it gets the usual "leave out nhs alone" bulls**t, almost everyone that works in it knows it cant carry on as it is,( my oh has worked in it all her adult life) but we just cant have a mature debate
