Chris Packhams 56 page Bible for the future.
Its readily available from his website, and I implore every one of you to read it.

Unless we are organic country bumpkins there is no room for farmers in Packhams future.

I keep dipping into it for research purposes, but it depresses me so i have to step away.
People like Chris, Gove likes Chris.
The values of land management and food production we've known, and aspirations we might foster for our farm businesses, and everything between, are going to be dust before the wind if Chris and his friends have their way.
It frightens me.

Hypocrite or What.

Does keeping tigers in cages for the enjoyment of humans who pay to look at them, and for financial gain not fall into the following category??

Chris Packham should release all the caged animals in the Isle of Wight Zoo Immediately.

One of the Manifesto Proposals is....

"Wild animals should no longer be taken from the wild in any country

for the pet trade or other human entertainment. Exemptions may be

made for conservation programmes requiring captive breeding."

You are unfortunately not wrong in your analysis, I have made a start on it but it is very difficult. I can’t help thinking they need to listen to their own advice when they state:-
I think that lobbying from vested interest groups working to discredit such facts should be terminated immediately.”

How about this for hypocrisy .
One of the contributors breeds BFL tups, expecting hill farmers to buy them.
(i promise you this is true)

Trying to look on the bright side. It's not all bad. No till farmers might feel a warm glow inside, its even proposed that no till farmers (only) might be allowed to carry on using glyphosate until a suitable alternative is found.
All the utterly predictable stuff about badgers and nasty chemicals though.
