I for one am really fed up with the usual suspects demanding that rapist's should get custody of any child produced by their actions.

(Putin needs to win something)

You know who you are.
NATO needs to stop pussyfooting around Putin and waiting for him to call all the shots. It's about time they took the initiative and started telling him what they intend doing. For example, getting a bulk carrier into Odessa to take grain out and doing it under NATO navel escort if necessary. Otherwise, they are allowing the Black Sea to become Putin's personal pond, where he can dictate who can or cannot sail in it.

Regarding grain am I right in thinking a large percentage of ukraines grain goes to putins chums in China and India?

Well
you don’t go call somebody’s bluff if haven’t got the equipment/technology to carry out what your proposing
they have shown their cards to the world and proved they ain’t the big force everyone thought they were
WHY do you keep blaming the west or USA surely you can’t blame them for giving the underdogs equipment
if you saw a young lad being beaten up by a adult would you not intervene
It seems from the dialogue on here that at least one regular contributor would not risk intervention for fear of getting his nails broken or some other life threatening injury

No idea, I guess that's a decision the Ukrainian leadership made when this all started, no one on either side seems to be interested in serious negotiations so I guess the bombing will continue, I just can't see Putin backing down & the US seem to have now decided to go all in as long as there are soldiers on the Ukrainian side still standing.
I have a fair idea that not many of the leadership would ever be seen again and a large percentage of the population would suffer the same outcome as the rest, rape, torture, mutilation, death. That's why they are fighting so hard,it's either that or lose your country's independence.
