Why the f..k would China attack Russia when it as a result of Western sanctions is getting the cheapest energy in the world & able to out compete the West in all things, they might say it's unfortunate it's come to this, blame the West & that's about as bad as it would get!
China would be able to walk not march into Siberia and get that energy for nothing, all whilst Russia is putting all its force into grabbing a piece of Ukraine for its precious metals and coal... the question is why haven't they rather than why would they.

Because There would be condemnation from their trading partners and from around the world. That is the whole point about the Ukraine Issue.

With everything aiming to go green, politically its been a good time to wean off Russian energy, regardless of how that energy has been replaced its an easy front. Weaning the whole world off Chinese goods would create a massive backlash in society, condemn it all you like, sanctioning China would really upset world society, that's if sanctions even worked, with energy sorted China is pretty dominant and self sustained

That’s his biggest problem I’ve no qualms he supports Russia, it’s his gloating and delight for Russia that p!SSes me off
For goodness sake you guys are pathetic, it's supposed to be a Ukraine forum but you simply cannot face reality, look at this latest UKRAINIAN report the Russians are doubling down on destroying towns & villages rather than hitting Ukrainian forces, if they intended to populate it with Russians it would seem pointless to make them uninhabitable, they are making a no mans land buffer strip rather than intent on invading Europe as we are being told by corrupt politicians.

Brian it's the way you word things.
Latest report this morning is Russia has lost the most troops and equipment in the last seven days on average compared to any other week in the last 2 years.
You didn't post that though, you posted Russian gains.
Their making gains at a huge cost.
It's nothing to gloat about,
Putin is destroying his own people all in the cause of the greater Motherland

That's where you are wrong, every time I put on a report from Ukrainian media you can always click on any of the reports on the left hand side of the page which gives you all the information you might want, most days it reports over a thousand Russian deaths a day, my interest is what exactly it is that Russia is destroying rather than losses as this gives a better idea of their intentions to my way of thinking.

I hope I'm wrong on it to be honest and it never happens. But a huge amount needs to be done to wean the world off China, I've not seen much proactive evidence so far.
There is also the flipside, China is utterly dependent on the rest of the world and, in by far the greater part, on democracies within the 'Western alliance'.

That written, far more needs to be brought home in terms of production, whether here, in the US or over in Europe.

Russia, like China and South Korea is suffering a population decline. There is an urgent need to produce babies. Volunteers will be urgently required to rectify this situation. Every cloud.........

This evening I have been using our friend Google to research the nutrient value of Ash produced when Straw is burnt in a furnace used for heating Broiler Chicken Sheds. Anyway I came across the the research paper attached from Sumy University, Ukraine. published last month. Interesting paper. So whatever is happening there University system is presumably still operational. And they are researching alternatives to using Gas for drying Grains. And the potential usage of the Ash. I note Sumy is adjacent to the Russian border.
Very interesting study. Looks like I am wasting my time putting ash from the woodburner on my garden.
