Well you're doing the complete opposite.

The lie is "Respect" .. god knows how you can justify posting this Bull.

I'll vouch for one thing .. this kind of PR will guarantee a very angry group of people.

You accused MS of a lie for quoting someone. We may or may not agree with the quote, but you’re out of line to accuse a correct quote as being a lie. Accept you’ve wronged him and move on.

I recognise that. But I see the benefits of the other parts of the EU too, and want them enough to accept the governance. That, and I value the output from the EU more than that of say the ScotGov. If I had to chose, I’d keep EU, slim down Westminster and abolish the regional governments.

The only benefit to the UK from the EU is the trade part, the rest of the political stuff is unnecessary and unbeneficial to the UK imo.
Quite happy to abolish regional assemblies as our lot aren't doing much at the moment anyway, but why slim down Westminster, we have 19 MPs out of 650, whereas only 3 out of 750 MEPs, which in should in theory give us better representation in WM?

I was thinking of Euratom, ESA, Erasmus, collaborative science research, European gps - that kind of stuff. I think of it as cab sharing for the stuff we wouldn’t be able to afford on our own.

Edit, and I think that the NI MPs punch well above their weight right now.

Wiltshire? Seriously? Have you any clue about the Geography of this country?

Include NI, Scotland and Wales and the centre would be around Carlisle, geographically. Pick the right projection and then draw a line from Land’s End to John O Groats and the middle already has a parliament building - it’s pretty much Douglas on the Isle of Man. It’s never going to be Wiltshire though, regardless of how you slice up the cake.

Things in farming must be quite buoyant, judging from the light hearted banter on this forum.

In reality, we are all facing some huge challenges and upheavals. Brexit is only one on the agenda. The Extinction Rebellion shows no signs of going away and might cause our politicians much more trouble than whether or not we remain in the EU.

ER is a serious matter and likely to affect British agriculture severely. We have had a week of dry weather and decent temperatures and already one of my dairy farmer customers is complaining that he doesn't have enough grass to feed his 250 cows and make a first cut of silage. Sounds to me like a case of overstocking! I am convinced that farming methods will have to change and the public be re-educated to appreciate that wholesome food on the table has to come at a price.

British farmers will rise to the occasion no doubt. Best that the UK Government sorts out a Brexit deal asap and starts to address a situation that could turn out to be a much more important in the long term.
