Looks like someone has relieved him of the radio and a tank of diesel by putting a hole in the bottom of the tank. Makes the few gallons of diesel rather expensive.
Why they go to the effort of a radio is beyond me as £5 would probably buy more than one.

I was a lot younger in those days and made sure that each one of them, 1 by 1 - wouldn't want to ever do it again!

I remember asking a local coach operator about an incident where a **** had broken the windscreen of one of the coaches and stolen the radio out of it. He told me that the **** had then taken it to the Boars Head in town and sold it for £10. It cost £1500 to repair the damaged coach.
