There Is A Deal For Christmas!!

I voted Remain. But I concede to the Outers....they won the vote I absolutely accept that.
From what I gather the potential deal is we're out with a deal that may suit the other remaining states providing they ratify.
In a nut shell: we're out of the EU, but in order to trade with them we will have to comply by their regulation with further restrictions.
The Ag Act 2020 brings no comfort to the industry other than the certainly we growers must do without linked payments for production.
In order to survive we need to cut production costs. Land values will tumble on the back of any Wealth Tax rumour.
I suggest that there are some jittery landowners having conservations with landagents already before banks say "Ahhhem, now about this overdraft".
The chinlesse's will want to control the landflow onto the market somehow.
Please convince me I'm wrong.
Then there's Covid!
I do hope there's The Peter Sellers Pink Panther on the telly this holiday period rather than Dads Army.

I doubt whether we will have left with the upper hand dealing with the likes of Who run Batertown Macron, but whatever it will be will be. Time to move on, and do what's best for those that live in the UK. On to bigger and better things. (y)

Perhaps BoJo has been jilted at the altar and left holding the fish.

Well he has form with fish and failing to understand the rules - but its never stopped him before.

The Lib Dem’s are in the wilderness. Their middle ground has been stolen by Lab and Con’s. They made a huge mistake with the last but one leader and got their reward at the ballot box. Hard to see how they can make a comeback unless either of the other 2 parties spilt, which isn’t necessarily unlikely?

Jo Swinson was campaigning on a ticket of rejoining the EU, which presumably had the backing of a lot of party members.
I would wager that it would be a minuscule number of even the ‘remain’ voters that would want to go down that path.
