Well DrWif she was able to get into the swimming pool it evidently was not freezing - or it would have been solid. And yes in September it probably was the highest temperature of the year. So afraid have to say she was totally accurate and of more use than your own comments.:);) starting to, I think, get hang of these emoji things!!

Full of the sort of pedantic clever facts, that while being true, aren't pragmatic or helpful. You hear it all the time from hardline Brexiteers. Short term pain blah blah blah, which means my business goes bust while their £100m fortune takes a very slight dip in investment income.;)

Her hand is strengthend somewhat. She can now make her trip to Dublin. Leo might well agree to spinning some words so she can get another inch or two of leeway. Bring it back to the house and leverage that plus her renewed authority to get it passed.
Oh, but won’t she absolutely laugh and dance on the grave of the DUP in the process. And who could blame her really.

What is it that you think the DUP should have done differently in their dealing with the PM?

There’s a story about the American tourist lost in county Kerry, who asked one of the natives for directions to Killarney. The Kerryman looks at the yank and says in all sincerity “well, if I was you now, I wouldn’t be starting from here” ....

Ditto with DUP and indeed unionism ..... to understand what they should have done differently, we cannot start from here ....

I’ll come back to you with a more detail response. Calving camera calls me to action .....

‘Haha Wimps’ Says Australia’s Parliament

The two major political parties in Australia have confirmed today that they’ve been very entertained by the events in the UK over the last 24 hours.

Speaking to The Advocate a short time ago, the two party’s leaders said there has been a bit of laughter about what’s transpired in the halls of Westminster.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Opposition Leader Bill Shorten explained that they couldn’t believe how gutless their British counterparts were.

Bill Shorten, the leader of the ALP who started the whole coup culture thing explained that he actually agreed with Morrison on this issue.

“There’s nothing wrong with knocking off a sitting Prime Minister because it’s the flavour of the month and creating a climate of uncertainty for the indefinite future, unless it’s me of course,” he said.

“How pathetic from the Brits to just stick with one leader.”

“And take my word for it because Sco-Mo and I don’t agree on many things, apart from a lot of elements of border protection, the new encryption laws, and so on, so it must be a common sense thing to just change Prime Minister every year,” Shorten said.

He then randomly asked our reporter what their favourite type of lettuce was in some weird attempt to make conversation outside of politics.

Morrison did indeed echo Shorten’s sentiments on the issue a short time ago.

“Owww scary, we better not roll our leader and cause widespread destabilisation and disarray within our government and our country,” said Morrison making crying eyes with his hands and pulling a funny face before bursting into laughter.

“Watch out, we better not change Prime Ministers again for the sake of it,” he then said in a baby voice before losing himself to uncontrollable giggles again.

“Seriously though, I’m a fair dinkum bloke and I just don’t get how they can be so pee weak.”

“Wimps.”

Listening to Bernard Jenkin on the TV and he made a sensible point. That there are maybe only 50 or so MPs who are actually representing the 52% of the electorate that voted Leave, whereas the bulk of MPs (Parliamentarians) are in favour of Remain. And that is the real issue. I listened to Ken Clark earlier today and yesterday on the radio. Father of the House - he came over as somewhat condescending to the electorate that knew no better and voted Leave (in a pleasant, fatherly humble way). Hey ho.
BJ also came across as " fox that runs with the hounds "?

What was disturbing was the arrogance of the interviewers taking over those who represented Leave.

Then interviewers were prompting and nodding to Remain representative to present the panto narrative.

As a sitting PM plonked on the throne by 200 Remainer MPs.

There was no other choice for Conservatives was there ? .. no vote, no democracy .. at least Remainers are consistent in their democratic abuse.

No. She contested the leadership - Gove killed his own chances and then Leadsom pulled out... May was the last person standing so won automatically.

She then went to the people and won a general election (albeit with a weakened majority).

There's no democratic abuse there. It was actually all done above board - unlike the previous Tory election campaign spendings...

So here we go again, little old May off back to the EU to get a better deal for the Ireland border problem. This woman is no negotiator, she could not negotiate a free lunch. Go there, demand they change the back stop or we leave, no deal or free lunch, and keep our 39 billion, but she won,t do that because she wants to remain. My issue here is, I don,t care either way, I will adapt like i always have, no change worrys me, the country voted to leave so we should leave, the left wing media don,t like it, well tough sh#t. Get over it cause the rest of us are sick to the back teeth of one sided arguments. I,m off to hang a gate now in little old England.;)
