We have dozens of the things here, every year without fail! Saw the first Ospray of the year yesterday and Eagles are nesting on nearby peak! Sometimes you have to remind yourself that others are not always as lucky.Hearing a cuckoo today for the first time probably this century around here, thought at first that some b****r had bought a cuckoo clock as I first heard the calls just before noon, but there were more this afternoon ! We must have had a change in farming practice without me noticing.

It's nice except when it's right outside the @#@*&+ window.Used to love the sounds of rooks nesting at night and at dawn and the screams of a vixen during the night, years ago. Not too sure now we have livestock.
