Was asked by a neighbour if we'd have any ewe lambs to sell this year as 2 years ago they brought some of ours at the market with the idea of rearing them on and selling them as tegs only to keep them after the price dropped, they put them to a ram and out of 75 they only needed to help 2

The architect slipped up and missed the deadline for part 2 of cottage 3 so we effectively lost permission. :(
After a re-alignment of his work ethic we've got it passed again, and even snuck another little loose box onto the plans as an en suite.
Money is still the stumbling block and hopefully no relatives will selfishly decide to have a terminal illness while we're trying to sell assets from under them. ;)

I've been on edge for 10 weeks over this.
I'm still convinced that council have missed their own deadline anyway as it's almost 10 weeks now since application was received.
Phew.

Getting this today, with a new workshop tool, not printed, but signed by the man who inspected the thing on the other side of the pond, I know it’s only a card, and may mean nothing, but it gave me a warm fuzzy feeling inside :D, knowing someone took a bit of pride in their job and the product they were producing:cool:, you just don’t see this sort of thing much anymore, in today’s mass produced, built to a price type world we now live in.

Thing that made me swear digging down to find the water leak only to find the pipe was not where the little fountain was coming out and bailing water out of the main stopcock hole to find a manky drowned mouse.

What made me smile taking delivery of our new to us seed drill so even when plastered on mud and clay and swearing I still had a smile on my face.
