Come on,, you know its not yours, It`s mine (y)

I think it could been mine.

I had some spare bales that @Hfd Cattle said he would take for a fiver - I'm paying him....
@roscoe erf was taking them down and then nipping across to @Robert K to pick up some cleaning products to bring up to @ColinV6 ( - they were nearly empty and the Scotsman thought he could get a bit more out of them...). @roscoe erf was then coming back for the second load of bales - I had to pay £10/bale for the second load removed.

You can hardly believe this but I laid the socket set on the lorry and must have put a bale on top of it - so it is mine.... That's why he would be going past you.

Honest...

Due to the lack of summer here this year there is a surplus of burgers that have gone by their date in the freezers.

I said to the wife that i would eat them for lunch.

After some hasty calculations, 3 burgers a day, lunch sorted until February.

Years ago when I had a pony my old man was laying out a corner of the pony field to make a makeshift arena out of road cones. He was short of a couple so he took back to where he had picked up the others, a set of roadworks on the A46 Warwick Bypass. I had to lean out of the passenger door, grab one and swing it into the bed of the old Gypsy pickup. The first couple went well but the next stayed where it was and pulled me out! They had got fed up of folks knicking them and had nailed the buggers to the tarmac!

I've always thought that the road clearers could make a steady living from the ratchet straps and hi-viz jackets that seem to appear by the side of the motorway . presume the hi viz items will have blown off a wide/ long load where they'd been installed as markers -- builder's ladders perhaps ? There was a rather nice set of aluminium ladders by the side of the M6 a week or two back , but I bet they didn't stay there very long
